Swallowing difficulties concern a man prescribed Fosamax
Dear Dr. Roach: I am a 71-year-old man who recently had a bone density scan. The test showed I had mild bone loss, and I was told I needed to go on medication. I was prescribed a vitamin D and calcium supplement as well as 70 mg of Fosamax to be taken once a week.

SE Social Sciences Dept. receives award for Fort Washita Rediscovery Project
Associate Professor of Early American History Matthew Sparacio and Southeastern Oklahoma State University history graduate Nathaniel Marshell traveled to Oklahoma City recently to represent the SE Social Sciences Department and receive an award from the Oklahoma Historical Society for contributions to the “Fort Washita Rediscovery Project.”

4 local egg hunts for children and families this weekend
Some public egg hunts in celebration of the upcoming Easter holiday will take place this weekend. For parents and families looking for some early holiday fun, starting Friday, there will be some free local events for those wishing to partake. Just don’t forget to bring a basket.
