Why not dance?

I kicked off day one of the new year by trying a new coffee shop — well, new to me. Upon opening the door, the smell of caramelized nuts, jasmine, and smoky fruits charmed my imagination. The walls and countertops were a creamy custard color accented by a pale shade of robin egg blue. Whitewashed wooden chandeliers gave light to a collection of small tables, some stacked with puzzles and board games. The music piping through the speakers was as soothing as the employee’s voice who asked if this were my first time there. I drank in the ambiance well before I tasted their signature coffee.

Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards coming soon

The Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards, led by the passionate Pastor Larry Davies, has announced the names of the twenty three individuals that have blazed the trail and set the standards for gospel music over the nation. These individuals are teachers, preachers, singers, musicians, and administrators. They will be recognized throughout the award weekend of February 16-19, 2023, at various scheduled events. All events that weekend will be held at the Houston Hobby Marriott Hotel.
