Stephen “tWitch” Boss, the longtime and beloved dancing DJ on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and a former contestant on “So You Think You Can Dance,” has died at the age of 40. His wife, Allison Holker Boss, confirmed his passing in a statement published Wednesday on People.com.
Case of hot flashes has yet to be resolved, despite therapy
Dear Dr. Roach: I am 78 years old. I had a hysterectomy in 1976 due to excessive vaginal bleeding, but I still have my ovaries. I have had hot flashes since undergoing menopause -- they usually last three to five minutes, and I have them about every two hours around the clock (which obviously interferes with my sleep).

Sister tries to navigate couple’s pending divorce
Dear Abby: My brother and his husband are getting ready to file for divorce. Before they do, however, they are embarking on a very expensive trip to Italy. It was paid for before the divorce conversations started.
TxDOT projects Dec. 19-23
This week, the Texas Department of Transportation will continue its weekly projects. In a news release issued Friday, the department detailed areas where crews will be working the week of Dec. 19-23 “These schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment failure or other unforeseen issues,” the news release said. “Motorists are advised to remain alert and pay special attention to all signs, barricades, and traffic controls, and reduce their speed as they approach and travel through work zones. They should also avoid distractions such as cell phones, eating, drinking, or car audio or navigation systems.”
Denison PD investigates man’s death on highway
The Denison Police Department is investigating a pedestrian verses auto accident that resulted in a man’s death. A news release from the DPD said police were called to the scene of the accident in the southbound lanes of Eisenhower Parkway at 9 a.m.
Man sentenced for child abuse
Brandon Chappell, of Leonard, was recently sentenced to 13 years in prison a resident of Leonard, Texas. Chappell had been convicted of the first-degree felony offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child, by the jury the day before. The aggravated sexual assault of a child under the age of 14, was a lessor included of the offense of continuous sexual assault of a child. A news release from the Fannin County District Attorney’s Office said the jury heard testimony from the victim and other family members throughout the trial.

ERCOT to closely monitor changing weather conditions
As a series of cold fronts approach Texas, ERCOT continues to closely monitor weather forecasts and models. ERCOT expects suffi cient generation to meet forecasted demand and will continue to provide updates.
