Sedra Lee Bond Bentley

Sedra Bentley passed away peacefully at her home in Denison, Texas, on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 80. Sedra was born to Bill and Stella Bond on May 13, 1942, in Sherman, Texas. She graduated from Sherman High School and Grayson County College with an associate degree in Business. She was employed and later retired at Servall Containers working in the corporate office and became a very accomplished businesswoman. She met the love of her life Kenneth Bentley, and they shared a lifelong adventure for 63 years. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Lisa, Bubba, and Kregg. She enjoyed watching her boys growing up and racing motorcycles, and Lisa cheering for the home team and becoming a Denison Stingerette. In addition, they were blessed with many grand-children and great-grands, which gave her more joy than you can imagine. Spending time with them was the highlight of any day. She loved her family more than words can say. She enjoyed gardening and working in the yard. She had beautiful plants and flowers that covered the whole patio. She also loved her dog Weezer and treated her like a real queen. Anything Weezer wanted, she got.

Good Morning: Not even Tom Hanks can save Pinocchio

I will get straight to it: Disney’s remake of Pinocchio is a film that is so average that even the charm of Tom Hanks can’t save it from mediocrity at best. Even in saying this, I think I am being more generous with what the film deserves. Disney launched Pinocchio, the latest in a line of modern remakes of its classic animated movies, late last week on its Disney+ streaming service. The film is a remake Disney’s second animated feature film and the classic Italian children’s story of the same name.
