A federal grand jury has returned an indictment charging a Grapeland man and woman with federal solicitation of murder violations in the Eastern District of Texas. Reynaldo Campos Jr., 44, and Robin Pittman, also known as Robin Hill, 42, were named in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in Tyler charging them with murder for hire and conspiracy to commit murder for hire; solicitation to commit murder for hire and conspiracy to solicit murder for hire; possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence; and felon in possession of a firearm.
Sherman resident Beau Watson did not go on trial this week on the murder charge he has faced since 2020. Back on June 19, 2020, Beau Watson called the police saying he had shot an intruder in his home in the 1500 block of South Austin Street, Sherman Police said around that time.
In September of 2019, Sherman Police were called to El Dorado mobile home park about a man who had allegedly shot his roommate who was also his relative. This week, that man was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the murder of his relative.
