SHERMAN - Lydia Pearl Fish was born in Archer City, Texas on February 23, 1938 to Archie and Ollie (Brewer) Fish. On June 9, 1955, she met and married the most handsome man she knew, George Adams; he preceded her in death on March 19, 1996.

WHITESBORO - John Wesley Ruff, a native Texan, died unexpectedly in Whitesboro Texas on September 8th of 2020 at the age of 61 years, 8 months, & 28 days old. John Wesley is survived by his children, Amanda Marie & Shon Wesley; his grandchildren, Susan Marie, Georgia Irene, & Chance Ely Clay; his sisters, Jackie Rae & Pamela Lee; his nieces, Shannon, Samantha, Sydney, & their children. He is preceded by his sister, Carolyn Joyce; his parents, Jack & Jhonnie B.; & his grandparents, Wilburn Lee & Maggie Nolia. Donald Ray Chapman

MADILL, OK - Donald Ray Chapman, 90, of Madill, Oklahoma passed away on April 23, 2022, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. He was born on October 12, 1931, in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Richard Edward Chapman and Ella Essie Nichols Chapman. Don was raised in Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi, Texas area. He graduated high school in 1951 from Ringling, Oklahoma and later attended OSU, Southeastern State University and Murray State Colleges. Don served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. For his service, he received the National Defense Service Medal. Don married Peggy Yvonne Ezell on April 2, 1971, in Arkansas. Over the years he owned and operated several rental properties, video stores and motels. Don worked 28 years as a Superintendent of Mail for the US Postal Service. In his younger years he enjoyed swimming, skiing, jumping off Tuckers Tower at Lake Murray, Oklahoma and going to Turner Falls in Davis, Oklahoma. Don also enjoyed camping, gambling, and square dancing.
