Several members of the Texoma Christian girls basketball team received postseason honors for their play this year.


Junior Hannah Bentsen was named the TAPPS District 1-2A Most Valuable Player and was a first-team all-state selection.


Senior Haylie Ross was also a first-team all-state pick while classmate Emily McCarthy was a second-team all-state choice for the state semifinalist Lady Eagles.


Both were joined by senior Kiersten Goff and junior Tori Powers as first-team all-district selections. Sophomore Bea Nguyen and freshman Claire Olmstead were second-team all-district while junior Shelby Galyon and senior Sydney Truly were honorable mention all-district.
