WHITESBORO — Katie Dean struck out six and also hit one of three Whitesboro home runs in a 15-3 five-inning run-rule win against Trenton on Tuesday.


Moriah Mitcheson and Devyn Power supplied the other long balls for the Lady Bearcats. Mitcheson was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI, while Ashley Griffin was 3-for-3 and Dean went 2-for-4. Power also drove in two.


Commerce 13, Bonham 12 (8)


COMMERCE — Maggie Hunt tripled twice and homered to finish 4-for-4, but Bonham still lost to Commerce in eight innings.


Audra Romans and Audrey Richardson each finished 3-for-5 for Bonham (4-4), which amassed 15 hits.


Lindsay 21, Gunter 7, (5)


LINDSAY — Lindsay scored seven runs in the bottom of the first, and it snowballed from there.


Megan Bullard, Yessica Ovalle, Kaylee Schmitz and Christy Watson all had two hits for the Lady Tigers, who had a dozen total. Ovalle had a double and three RBI, and Schmitz, Chaney Elvington and Ashleigh Holcomb also doubled for Gunter (0-1).


Tom Bean 15, Melissa 10


TOM BEAN — Kelsey Smith and Rebecca Pittman hit home runs during Melissa’s loss against Tom Bean on Monday.


Pittman had three RBI, while Smith and Madison Boedeker each drove in two runs for Melissa (2-4).
