Terilyn Bufkin chipped in eight points, three steals, two assists and two rebounds, Ashley Cooper totaled eight points four rebounds and three steals and Kristen McCanlies added five points, six rebounds and two steals for Whitesboro.

TOM BEAN — Sarah Anderson had 13 points, nine rebounds and five steals as Tom Bean defeated Savoy in non-district action in a sendoff to the Tom Bean Elementary gym on Tuesday night.


Katie Jones added 12 points, seven steals and four rebounds and Alex Hendry finished with nine points, four rebounds and four steals for Tom Bean.


Hanna White, Katie Gibson and Taylor Keen all led Savoy with seven points and Ashley Melugin grabbed eight rebounds.


Gunter 40, North Lamar 36


PARIS — Regan Hestand had 13 points, 12 rebounds, six steals and four assists as Gunter edged North Lamar in non-district action on Tuesday.


Jaimie Hughes added 12 points and seven rebounds and Mackenzie Mazerolle finished with nine points for Gunter (5-4), which outscored North Lamar 15-1 in the third quarter.


The Lady Tigers play at Howe on Tuesday night.

COLLINSVILLE — Brooke Johnson had nine points, seven rebounds and three blocks for Collinsville but Van Alstyne defeated the Lady Pirates in non-district action on Tuesday.


Janice Harmon added seven points and three steals and Morgan Irelan finished with three points, five assists and four steals for Collinsville.

SADLER — Elizabeth Johnson scored 14 points as Honey Grove defeated S&S in non-district action on Tuesday.

Brooke Rankin scored 13 points, Jessika Dyke added 12 points and Shelby Thomas chipped in six points for S&S (1-6), which plays at Valley View on Tuesday.

FARMERSVILLE — Katie Branam had 24 points, eight rebounds and three steals for Bells but Farmersville defeated the Lady Panthers in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Emily Fagan added six points while Callie Snyder, Bree Joyce and Katie Shults all chipped in five points apiece for Bells (7-2).


Merit Bland 43, Dodd City 35


DODD CITY — Keeshia Thompson had 13 points during Dodd City’s non-district loss to Bland on Tuesday.


Lauren Hilliard scored eight points for Dodd City, which faces Petrolia at 12:30 p.m. on Friday at Wichita Falls City View to start play in the small-school bracket of the Fantasy of Lights Tournament.
