Kylie Halstead scored 15 points to lead North Lamar.


Muenster 44, Tom Bean 29


TOM BEAN — Sarah Henderson had seven points, eight rebounds and four steals for Tom Bean but Muenster defeated the Lady Tomcats in non-district action on Friday night.


Katie Jones added six points and five rebounds, Alex Hendry chipped in five points and 12 rebounds and Sierra Harris scored five points for Tom Bean.


Bells Tournament


Bells 45, Aubrey 32


BELLS — Katie Shults had 15 points as Bells finished its tournament with a victory against Aubrey on Saturday.


Katie Branam added eight points, Carlee Shelby chipped in seven points and Emily Fagan and Macy Sanders finished with six points apiece for Bells.


Van Alstyne 37, Saint Jo 32


BELLS — Maddie Horn had 13 points, four steals and two assists as Van Alstyne closed out the Bells Tournament with a victory against Saint Jo on Saturday.


Carleigh Simmons added eight points, four steals and two assists and Hannah Smith scored seven points for Van Alstyne (3-4), which hosts Anna on Tuesday night.


Ponder Tournament


Lubbock Trinity 59, Gunter 51


PONDER — Regan Hestand scored 22 points and Makayla Watson added nine, but Lubbock Trinity pulled away for good to win the Ponder tournament title on Saturday.


Watson and Hestand were both named all-tournament as Gunter (4-2) finished tied for second in the round-robin event.


On Friday in the tournament, Hestand scored 31 points as the Lady Tigers beat Alvord, 58-54, and Bree Adkins netted a dozen in an easy 48-18 win against host Ponder. The Lady Tigers on Thursday beat Valley View, 58-35, and lost to Sanger, 68-60.


The Lady Tigers will host Paradise on Tuesday.


Campbell Tmt. Third-Place Game


Blue Ridge 34, Trenton 29


CAMPBELL — Kinzie Garcia scored 10 points as Blue Ridge edged district foe Trenton for third place at the Campbell Tournament on Saturday.


Torey Crosswhite added seven points, Kendyl White finished with six points and Haley Stephens chipped in five points for Blue Ridge.


Earlier in the day Blue Ridge lost against Campbell, 44-26. Garcia had nine points while Crosswhite and Stephens each chipped in three points.


Miller Grove Tmt. Fifth-Place Game


DeKalb 45, Whitewright 42


SALTILLO — Anna Shope had 29 points but Whitewright’s fourth-quarter rally fell short against DeKalb on Saturday night.


Landry Rhoten and Shope each scored 10 points earlier Saturday, as Whitewright (4-3) defeated Saltillo, 33-28.


On Friday, Jaidyn Melichar had 11 points, Sydney Brummett scored nine and Anna and Hatty Shope added eight each during Whitewright’s 54-22 win over Cumby at the tournament.
