Kearon Redmon went 1-for-2 for Van Alstyne (9-7, 5-2) with two runs and one RBI, while Will Jones was 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Troy Watson led Gunter (16-10, 5-2) at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, while Anthony Vulpitta was 1-for-3 and scored twice.

Leonard 13, Pilot Point 1 (6)

PILOT POINT — Laine Albert allowed an unearned run on five hits while striking out eight and walking just one as Leonard run-ruled Pilot Point in 12-2A action.

Albert also went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBI, Colson Coheley and Ty McKinney each had two hits and drove in two runs for Leonard (13-6, 4-3).

District 11-2A Howe 17, Whitewright 2 (5)

HOWE — Randle Nix went 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI as Howe defeated Whitewright.

Easton Ross was 2-for-3 with three runs and two RBI, Bryce Mosier was 3-for-3with three runs and one RBI and Howe Garrett Fulenchek struck out 13 for Howe (14-4, 7-1).

Dakota Mason went 1-for-2 with an RBI for Whitewright (7-12, 4-4).

Pottsboro 5, Whitesboro 3

WHITESBORO — Kyler Kent’s RBI triple in the top of the fifth gave Pottsboro a one-run lead and the Cardinals held on against Whitesboro and break a tie for second place in 11-2A.

Ryan Johnson went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs and one RBI for Pottsboro (10-7, 6-2).

District 15-A Savoy 3, Ector 0

ECTOR — Ian Ryon struck out 10 to lift the Cardinals to a win against Ector.

Ryon, who walked just two and gave up four hits, also went 3-for-3 with a double, run and an RBI while Bryan Vosburg finished 3-for-4 with a double and a run for Savoy (5-7, 2-2).

District 16-A Blue Ridge 3, Sam Rayburn 2

IVANHOE — Lane McKinney singled in Thomas Weatherford in the top of the seventh for Blue Ridge in a district win at Sam Rayburn.

Weatherford went 2-for-3 and scored twice for the Tigers (11-5, 3-3) while McKinney was 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Taylor Dollgener and Jake Carson each went 1-for-3 with one run for Sam Rayburn (8-10, 1-6).

In a district make-up game on Monday, Blue Ridge beat Campbell, 29-0, in three innings, Houston Holland was 3-for-3 and drove in four runs and score four times while Brevin Wiggins went 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. Weatherford and Wiggins teamed up to throw a combined one-hitter.

Wolfe City 4, Bland 2

MERIT — Trinten Turney was a home run shy of hitting the cycle in Wolfe City’s win at Bland.

Turney finished 4-for-4 with two runs and an RBI while Dawson Caldwell struck out eight and walked two for Wolfe City (9-5, 6-1).

Dodd City 19, Campbell 0 (5)

CAMPBELL — Hunter Vaught, Holden Horton and Lane Anderson combined to pitch a no-hitter as Dodd City run-ruled Campbell.

Vaught struck out five and walked one during three innings for the win with Horton and Anderson each throwing a hitless inning for Dodd City (7-7, 5-2), which won its fifth-straight district game.

Dalton Underwood totaled three RBI and two doubles, Kyle Turner had three hits and two RBI, Vaught doubled for one of his three hits and Dakota Brown tripled for one of his two hits.

Trenton 14, Celeste 1

CELESTE — Cody Lambright was 4-for-4, including three doubles, to go with two runs and two RBI as Trenton beat Celeste.

Bailey Burks was 3-for-4 with three runs for Trenton (18-2, 7-0).

Micah McCaslin led Celeste at the plate, going 1-for-1 and scoring its lone run in the third.
