CEDAR HILL — Collin Sefcik drove in three runs and Southeastern stole six bases on the day as the Savage Storm evened its season record with a 7-2 win over Northwood on Tuesday afternoon.

CEDAR HILL — Collin Sefcik drove in three runs and Southeastern stole six bases on the day as the Savage Storm evened its season record with a 7-2 win over Northwood on Tuesday afternoon.


Sefcik finished the day with three RBI on just one hit, while Trevor Bowen recorded the other RBI for SOSU (2-2).


Sefic and Bowen each collected a hit, as did Jacob Soisson, Jacob Carter and Cade Clay.


Chevis Springer and Cody Coats each stole a pair of bases, and Springer scored three times despite not collecting a hit.


Mathew Benedict got the start and snagged his first win of the season after tossing five innings and allowing a run on five hits with four strikeouts.


The Storm’s next action is slated for Tuesday, when they host Northeastern State in a noon doubleheader.
