FRISCO — Tori Fryar and Davis Looney set school records for Denison at the North Texas 4A TISCA swimming invitational at the Frisco Natatorium on Saturday.

FRISCO — Tori Fryar and Davis Looney set school records for Denison at the North Texas 4A TISCA swimming invitational at the Frisco Natatorium on Saturday.


Fryar won the 200 freestyle in a Lady Jacket record 1:55.43 while Looney set the school mark in the 200 freestyle with a 12th-place finish at 1:51.13.


Fryar also won the 500 freestyle in 5:07.72, almost four seconds ahead of the runner-up and Looney was fifth in the 500 freestyle at 4:56.95.


Pottsboro’s Laney Recer was third in the 100 freestyle at 55.05 seconds and took seventh in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.81 seconds.


Dodd City’s Miranda Fannin was fifth in the 100 breaststroke in 1:10.52 and took 15th in the 50 freestyle.


Dodd City’s Wyatt Fannin placed 10th in the 100 freestyle and 12th in the 100 breaststroke.
