HOUSTON — The Grayson College baseball team earned a pair of victories on Saturday, beating Howard College 3-2 and San Jacinto 6-4.


In the victory over Howard, Willie Schwanke allowed two runs on two hits and struck out four in six innings, Brad Adams notched the three-inning save and Zack Files singled, walked and two stolen bases.


Matt McLean was 3-for-4, with a walk, two runs, two RBI and three stolen bases against San Jacinto.


Files had a pair of hits and walks, Landon Wilson went five and two-thirds and Grayson turned four double plays to earn the victory.


The Vikings, who opened the weekend with a 9-3 loss to Howard on Friday, finishes up tournament action today at 11 a.m. when they take on Eastern Oklahoma.
