Jesko, a junior quarterback from Dalhart, played arguably the best game of his career in leading the ’Roos to the program’s first win over Trinity since 1993. Jesko completed 16-of-23 passes for 274 yards with three touchdowns against no interceptions.

He completed touchdown passes of 65, 58, and six yards, with his second touchdown pass putting him over the 2,000 yard mark for the season. In a four game win streak to end the season, Jesko had eight touchdowns and zero picks.

Ward, a sophomore linebacker from Grand Prairie, led a defense that held Trinity to just seven points and 243 yards of total offense, including just 22 rushing yards.
