Williams also led the way on the glass with 11 points to complete the double-double, her seventh of the year.


Ronay English came off the bench to add 13 points, while Breana Small-Peppers was next in line with nine for SOSU (13-11, 10-8).


Later on Monday, Southeastern’s Urald King led all scorers with 25 on the night, but Arkansas Tech pulled away in the second half to hand the Savage Storm a 73-55 loss.


The loss moves SOSU (8-16, 5-13) back into a tie with Ouachita Baptist for the eighth and final spot in the conference tournament with two games to play.


John Balwigaire was the team’s only other double-digit scorer, finishing with 10.
