In Game 1, Evan Ramsey turned in a 3-for-5 performance at the plate with an RBI and a pair of runs scored for the Savage Storm (15-16, 7-11 GAC).


Chevis Springer and Chance Burcham each added two-hit days at the plate, while Jacob Carter picked up two RBI, and Brayon Colley, Jacob Soisson and Burcham each added one.


Dwight Camp earned the win in relief to move to 3-3 after throwing 1 1/3 innings and allowing a run on a hit.


The series finale was a pitcher’s duel that saw SAU take advantage of an SOSU error in the fourth inning with two outs to score the game’s only run.


Nick Johnson was saddled with the loss after tossing six innings and allowing on six hits.
