Brianna Barry has been named the new head volleyball coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State after serving in an interim role when Jenn King accepted the head coach position at Nova Southeastern.

"I am truly excited to become the head coach at Southeastern," said Barry, "And I am looking forward to continue the progress that Jenn and Dan King accomplished with the program."

Barry joined the Storm volleyball program prior to the 2013 season as a graduate assistant.

That move was on the heels of a three-year stint playing professionally in Switzerland for Volleyball Franches-Montagnes, serving as captain for the third season.

Prior to her professional career she was four-year starter at Florida State where as a senior in 2009 she was the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, a Second Team All-American and the ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year all while also serving as the team’s co-captain.
