DURANT — Southeastern baseball coach Mike Metheny has announced the early signing of Brandon Grimsley and Nolan Fanning for the 2015 season.

DURANT — Southeastern baseball coach Mike Metheny has announced the early signing of Brandon Grimsley and Nolan Fanning for the 2015 season.


Both players will make the move from the junior college ranks and will be juniors in the 2015 season.


Grimsley is a McAlester, Okla., native currently playing outfield for Murray State in Tishomingo, Okla.


While at MHS he helped his team to a state semi-final appearance and in his first season at MSC he led the team in quality at bats while helping guide the Aggies to a 2013 National Championship.


Fanning is a native of Coalgate, Okla., and is currently a catcher and first baseman at Northern Oklahoma-Enid.


Fanning is heading into his second season at NOC-Enid.
