In the nightcap, SOSU put five players in double figures and had two with double-doubles, but could not overcome a rough night at the free throw line in an 82-79 loss.


The Savage Storm (6-13, 4-10) hit 12-of-27 3s. Urald King and Daichi Taniguchi each finished with 17 points, with King adding a game-high 11 rebounds. Darius Harris turned in his third double-double of the season with 15 points and 10 boards.


In the women’s game, Shelby Hill paced SOSU (12-8, 9-5) with 12 points, going 4-for-4 from the floor.
