DURANT, Okla. — Southeastern Oklahoma State had a pair of football players earn D2CCA All-Super Region 3 honors, with kicker Joel Carlos taking home first-team honors while return specialist O.J. Walker earned second-team recognition.
Carlos, a junior from Carrollton, was a first team All-GAC selection and a two-time GAC Special Team Player of the Week after tying a school record with 17 field goals, including a pair of game-winners inside the final minute. He finished 17-of-23. Carlos was a second-team All-Super Region 3 selection last season.
Walker, a redshirt-freshman from Ardmore, Okla., was a second-team All-GAC pick and was ranked 12th nationally in combined returns with 782 yards and third in the country in punt returns at 25 yards per return and second in punt return touchdowns with three.
Carlos will now earn All-American consideration after his first-team honors.
