Ikia Lacy added 13 points, nine rebounds and six steals, Zachareia Sommers added 14 points, four assists, three rebounds and there steals and Taryn Gaines totaled eight points, five rebounds, four assists and three blocks for Denison (9-2), which will compete in the Pottsboro Tournament starting on Thursday.

POTTSBORO — Hannah Fellinger had 13 points, six steals and four rebounds as Pottsboro defeated Celina in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Haiden Williams added 13 points, four rebounds and four steals, Madeline O’Hanlon chipped in eight points and 11 rebounds, Pyper James finished with eight points, three steals and three rebounds and Haley Williams totaled six points, six steals and six rebounds for Pottsboro.


Melissa 68, Whitewright 30


WHITEWRIGHT — Sally Clemmons had 18 points, eight steals and five assists as Melissa defeated Whitewright in non-district action on Tuesday.


Taylor Thomas scored 17 points, Natalie Conlin added 10 points and six rebounds and Charley Lane finished with eight points and five rebounds for Melissa (7-2).


Whitesboro 45, Aubrey 38


AUBREY — Karlee Schuessler and Piper Dunn each scored 11 points as Whitesboro beat Aubrey in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Phoenix West added eight points and Gabbie Case totaled seven points for Whitesboro (6-3), which will face Lindsay and Blue Ridge in the Valley View Tournament on Thursday.


Tom Bean 53, S&S 52 (2OT)


TOM BEAN — Alyssa Edwards scored 19 points and Jillian Beck had 16 as Tom Bean nipped S&S on Tuesday.


Payton White scored 24 points to lead S&S with Taylor Jackson adding 12 points.


Tom Bean took a 36-22 lead to the fourth quarter, but S&S rallied to take a 45-43 lead with five seconds remaining in regulation. Tom Bean scored the tying basket in regulation and the first overtime before outscoring S&S 4-3 in the second extra period.


S&S will host the For Love of the Game Tournament this weekend with the Lady Rams taking on Fort Worth Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.


Dodd City 81, Pilot Point 15


DODD CITY — Paige Granstaff scored 23 points as Dodd City defeated Pilot Point in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Abby Weeks added 16 points, Journie Hilliard chipped in 14 points, Marissa Mills totaled 10 points and Dani Maccus finished with nine points for Dodd City (7-0).


Campbell 47, Van Alstyne 44


VAN ALSTYNE — Avery Duncan scored 12 points during Van Alstyne’s non-district loss against Campbell on Tuesday night.


Torin Riddick added 11 points and Emma Donald chipped in nine points for Van Alstyne (4-2), which takes on Bland to open the Dodd City Tournament on Thursday.


Honey Grove 48, Yantis 15


YANTIS — Diavian Shaw scored 21 points as Honey Grove defeated Yantis in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Makiyah Johnson added 10 points and Isabella Morrison chipped in seven points for Honey Grove (6-3), which held a 19-2 half-time lead.


Gunter 53, Valley View 52


GUNTER — Tori Gittens scored 36 points as Gunter edged Valley View in non-district action on Tuesday night.


Sarah Putnicki added 10 points for Gunter.


Blue Ridge 55, Ector 39


BLUE RIDGE — Ellery Martin scored 18 points as Blue Ridge defeated Ector in non-district action on Tuesday.


Shelby Gerner added 16 points while Cierra Spurgin, Skylar Gerner and Madeline Foor each scored seven points for Blue Ridge.


Destiny Whitburn had 14 points, Sunnie Bingham added nine points and Montana Johnson chipped in eight points for Ector (6-2), which hosts Callisburg at 6 p.m. on Friday.
