CADDO MILLS — Brendon Lewis was 12-of-18 passing for 230 yards and three touchdowns and ran for a score as Melissa defeated Caddo Mills, 42-15, in District 5-4A (II) action on Friday.


Breelyn Armstrong had seven carries for 49 yards and a score, Junior Castleberry added four catches for 69 yards and a TD, Tate Whittington and Kennedy Lewis caught touchdown passes and Chance Mapps returned an interception for a touchdown for Melissa (6-1, 2-0).


Celina 42, Community 10


CELINA — Ismael Ortiz had 18 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns as Celina defeated Community in 5-4A (II) action on Friday.


Noah Ross threw touchdown passes to Jimmy Allen and Major Martin and ran for a score while Logan Point added a touchdown run for Celina (5-2, 2-0).


Colby Warren threw for 157 yards and a touchdown for Community (2-5, 0-2).


Aubrey 45, Bonham 31


BONHAM — Tyler Rodriguez had 17 carries for 56 yards and three touchdowns and threw for 235 yards and a TD during Bonham’s district loss against Aubrey.


Trevor Hartwell finished with two catches for 74 yards and a touchdown and Noah Shellman totaled 77 yards on four carries and 77 yards on three receptions for Bonahm (2-5, 0-2).


District 4-4A (I)


Argyle 56, Gainesville 13


ARGYLE — Brandon Baker had 18 carries for 154 yards and a touchdown during Gainesville’s district loss to Argyle on Friday.


Calion Baker added 110 yards on 16 carries and Luis Herta scored on the ground for Gainesville (3-4, 1-1).


Jon Copeland threw three TD passes for Argyle (7-0, 2-0).


District 5-3A (I)


Pottsboro 49, Callisburg 14


CALLISBURG — Will Cates had 117 yards and four touchdowns on 13 carries as Pottsboro defeated Callisburg in district action on Friday.


Chase Abbott added four carries for 93 yards and a score and Hunter Watson finished with seven carries for 75 yards and a TD while throwing a 76-yard touchdown pass to Daniel Arnold for Pottsboro (5-2, 2-0).


Sam Lewis finished with 20 carries for 56 yards and a touchdown and Brandon Hutson returned an interception 70 yards for a score for Callisburg (1-6, 0-2).


Whitesboro 21, Pilot Point 12


PILOT POINT — Scout Sanders threw a pair of touchdown passes as Whitesboro defeated Pilot Point in district action on Friday.


Sanders found Noah Greisen for a 68-yard TD and then Weston Hickman for a 51-yard scored while Brooks Barker added a touchdown run for Whitesboro (4-3, 2-0).


Quincy Kemp and Regan Gochis had touchdown runs for Pilot Point (2-5, 1-1).


District 6-3A (II)


Gunter 50, Cooper 0


COOPER — Dylan Jantz had 138 yards and two touchdowns on five carries as Gunter clinched a playoff spot with its win over Cooper on Friday.


Daylan Bower added five carries for 47 yards and two touchdowns, Braiden Clopton totaled 77 yards and a TD on five carries and Peyton Lowe and Ethan Everson chipped in touchdown runs for Gunter (8-0, 4-0), which has won 24 straight games.


Cooper (3-4, 2-1) became Gunter’s third shutout victim in four district games.


District 6-2A (I)


Collinsville 54, Tom Bean 22


TOM BEAN — Garrett Vannoy had 20 carries for 182 yards and three touchdowns as Collinsville beat Tom Bean in district action on Friday.


Gustavo Romo added 95 yards and a TD on 13 carries and caught a touchdown pass from Cooper Smith, Justin Hernandez added 12 carries for 59 yards and a score and Taylor Bennett and Kevin Leyva added TD runs for Collinsville (5-2, 2-1).


Bells 57, Blue Ridge 12


BELLS — Hunter Hawthorne had 11 catches for 103 yards and three touchdowns, including the 50th of his career, and returned a fumble for a TD as Bells topped Blue Ridge in district play.


Eli Strickland finished with 144 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries, Bryan Ponder was 23-of-39 for 186 yards with the three touchdowns and three interceptions and also ran for a score and Trevor Coglon and Wade Rolen returned fumbles for touchdowns for Bells (6-1, 2-1). Rolen recovered three fumbles.


Tyson Walters threw touchdown passes to Joel Linn and Brody Wiggins for Blue Ridge (2-6, 1-3). Linn had four catches for 72 yards and Garrett Mathers ran 20 times for 91 yards.


District 9-2A (I)


Wolfe City 41, Honey Grove 8


HONEY GROVE — Devonta Brown had 13 carries for 78 yards and three touchdowns as Wolfe City beat Honey Grove in district action on Friday.


Jed Cagle finished with 81 yards and two TDs on 16 carries and Travis Williams also ran for a score for Wolfe City (7-0, 2-0).


Trel Pruitt had 98 yards and a touchdown on four carries and Jacob Caffee added 15 carries for 58 yards for Honey Grove (4-3, 1-1).


District 15-A (I)


Savoy 55, Fruitvale 26


FRUITVALE — Coby Wilson had 16 carries for 177 yards and five touchdowns as Savoy defeated Fruitvale in district action on Friday.


Patrik McCauley totaled 173 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries, Colby Burgess also scored on the ground and Hunter Carassco intercepted a pair of passes for Savoy (1-6, 1-0), which can clinch its sixth straight playoff spot with a victory against Fannindel this week.
