The Tioga boys and girls cross-country teams won the District 22-A team titles on Wednesday and qualified for the Class 1A region meet.


Isabel Pena won the individual girls title with a time of 13:59. Morgen Klohn was third in 14:23, Jennifer Rodriguez was fourth at 14:39, Jerri Davis was fifth in 14:46, Paityn Glaze was sixth in 14:55 and Baylee Glaze was 10th in 16:31.


Also qualifying for regionals was Ector’s Rylee Evans, who was the runner-up in 14:17, and Savoy’s Lauren Cooper, who was seventh in 15:01, and Haylee Wheeler, who was ninth in 16:02.


On the boys side, Tioga won behind Justin Rodriguez’s individual title in 17:45. Kaleb Scott was the runner-up in 19:05, Ethan Staples was third in 19:26, Marshall Lease was fifth in 20:17 and Brandon Wheeler was seventh in 20:43.


Savoy was the runner-up and is headed to regionals with Hunter Carrasco’s fourth-place finish leading the way. Colby Burgress was sixth in 20:26, Patrik McCauley was eighth in 21:12, Bobby Marshall was ninth in 21:22 and Branson Sanders was 10th in 21:31.
