POTTSBORO — The Pottsboro boys and girls golf teams earned runner-up finishes at the Denison Stinger and Stingerette Classics at Tanglewood on Monday.


Austyn Reily won the individual title with a 72, four shots ahead of North Lamar’s Jackson Nottingame, in leading the Cardinals to a combined 334 that was just two strokes behind champion Lovejoy.


Hayden Kent followed with an 83 to tie for sixth for Pottsboro while Garrett Townsend shot 84 to tie for 10th, J.D. Barnes finished with a 95 and Baylin Bayless had a 112.


Denison placed sixth with a combined 389. Will Myers finished with an 83 to tie for sixth, Brinton Vaughn was at 98, Carson Trotter carded a 100, Coleman Muirhead shot 108 and Garrett Poe finished with a 111.


Callisburg was seventh with a combined 409. Justin Crisp led the Wildcats with a 90 that tied for 19th while Logan Bronnenberg had a 95 to tie for 22nd.


On the girls side, the Lady Cardinals had a 471 behind McKinney North’s 382. Henley Foster led Pottsboro with a 107 that placed her eighth, Marie Baldwin had a 118, Anneliese Martin carded a 121, Laklynn Fulenchek finished with a 125 and Annie Adlof shot 147.


Denison’s Kelly Neidert shot a 103 to tie for sixth and Nydia Soriano shot 123 to tie for 16th.


Princeton’s Sarah Staley won the individual title with an 87.
