Kiara Scott added seven kills and 11 digs, Taryn Gaines chipped in six kills and two blocks, Drew Hayes finished with four kills and five digs, Courtney Gillespie handed out 33 assists to go with 13 digs, Kenli Powell totaled 11 digs and three kills and Taylor Dawes collected 15 digs for Denison (22-9, 3-3), which has the district bye on Friday and will start the second half next Tuesday at first-place Denton Ryan in no worse than a tie for third place.

BONHAM — Bri Williams had eight kills for Bonham but Aubrey defeated the Lady Warriors, 25-21, 25-9, 25-16, in district action on Tuesday.

PILOT POINT — Qyra Ressler had 14 kills and 12 digs as Whitesboro beat Pilot Point, 25-20, 25-14, 25-17, in district action on Tuesday.


Phoenix West added nine kills and 13 digs, Sierra Parks chipped in six kills, three digs and two blocks, Karlee Schuessler finished with 23 assists, seven digs, three kills and three aces, Maggie McCorkle totaled 15 assists, five kills, three aces and three digs and Jenna Eugster collected seven digs for fourth-place Whitesboro (16-12, 3-2).

SADLER — Leighann Wolfe totaled five kills, five assists and 11 digs for S&S but second-place Ponder defeated the Lady Rams, 25-22, 25-12, 25-8, in district action on Tuesday.


Grace Johnson added three kills, Payton White had three kills, three blocks and two aces, Halie Hicks handed out six assists, Riley Marshall collected 13 digs, Kaylee Baker contributed 10 digs and Mickey Baur chipped in five digs for S&S (10-16, 0-5).

Van Alstyne def. Whitewright 3-1


WHITEWRIGHT — Kelsey Hodgdon handed out 27 assists for Whitewright but Van Alstyne beat the lady Tigers, 22-25, 25-12, 25-20, 25-15, in district action on Tuesday.


Jy’Rea Johnson, Amaya Rice and Erin Wood all had seven kills each for Whitewright (13-16, 2-4), which has the district bye on Friday.

Blue Ridge def. Bells 3-0


BLUE RIDGE — Shelby Gerner had 15 kills, seven blocks, four assists and three digs as Blue Ridge beat Bells, 25-19, 25-19, 25-20, to force a second-place tie with the Lady Panthers on Tuesday.


Ellery Martin added 14 kills and four blocks, Skylar Gerner chipped in 10 kills and three blocks, Cierra Spurgin put down eight kills, Marlaina Morgan handed out 16 assists, Taylor Langwell collected 16 digs and Dakota Deckard finished with 15 assists to go with five digs for Blue Ridge (12-12, 5-1).


Bella Smith had 10 kills, Charli Waggoner added five kills, Dezeray Poe chipped in four kills and two blocks, Hali Williams handed out nine assists and Kennedy Derzapf collected seven digs for Bells (12-17, 5-1).

ROXTON — Baylee Stautzenberger had 14 kills as Tom Bean swept Roxton, 25-5, 25-11, 25-4, in district action on Tuesday.


Cheyanne Worley added three kills and two aces, Jillian Beck handed out 15 assists to go with three kills and Maddy Harris put down three aces for Tom Bean.

GUNTER — Camryn MacDonald had 20 kills and 19 digs during Gunter’s non-district loss against the Red River Rattlers, 25-20, 33-31, 23-25, 25-14, on Tuesday.
