Madi Gladen put down six kills, Sarah Graham added two kills and three blocks, Dallas Aleman finished with 20 assists and 13 digs and Cameron Wecker posted a team-high 14 digs for Sherman (24-8, 1-4), which has the district bye Tuesday before hosting Denton on Friday.

PRINCETON — Susan Blake had 16 kills as Melissa opened district play with a 25-22, 25-19, 25-15 victory against Princeton on Friday.


Caroline Kasson added 12 kills and Charley Lane chipped in four kills for Melissa.

WHITESBORO — Qyra Ressler had 13 kills and 16 digs as Whitesboro rallied to beat Pottsboro, 25-23, 21-25, 18-25, 26-24, 15-11, in district action on Friday.


Maggie McCorkle added eight kills, 18 assists and 12 digs, Phoenix West totaled seven kills and 27 digs, Sierra Parks chipped in seven kills and nine digs and Karlee Schuessler finished with seven kills, 23 assists and 14 digs for Whitesboro (15-12, 2-2).

SADLER — Camryn MacDonald had 12 kills, nine digs, three blocks and three aces as Gunter defeated S&S, 25-16, 25-16, 25-16, in district action on Friday.


Beth Gilbreath added six kills, Jacee Childers handed out 23 assists to go with eight digs, Kinzee Hamilton finished with 10 digs and three aces and Lexie Lenderman collected 10 digs for Gunter (21-7, 4-1).

TIOGA — Andrea Perez had 16 kills as Tioga swept Valley View, 25-21, 25-20, 25-21, in district action on Friday.


Nicole Hill added eight kills, Carly Hough chipped in seven kills and Brittney Barnett handed out 34 assists to go with six aces for second-place Tioga (20-9, 4-1).

TRENTON — Sarah Brent had nine kills and four digs as Dodd City defeated Trenton, 25-12, 28-26, 25-16, in district action on Friday.


Journie Hilliard added nine kills, Cassandra Woodlee chipped in five kills, Abby Weeks totaled 20 assists, three kills, two blocks and two aces and Delaney Pilliod finished with three kills and three digs for Dodd City (18-5, 5-0).


Gracie Holden had seven kills, Maddison Lavoie added six kills, Bethany Nors handed out 12 assists and Gabby Edwards finished with 10 digs and three aces for Trenton (11-19, 2-3).

ROXTON — Dezeray Poe put down eight kills as Bells swept Roxton, 25-11, 25-9, 25-16, in district action on Friday.

WOLFE CITY — Baylee Stautzenberger had eight kills and four digs for Tom Bean but Wolfe City beat the Lady Tomcats, 26-24, 25-22, 25-17, in district action on Friday.


Jillian Beck finished with 16 assists, four kills and two aces, Lauren Getts, Chloe Farrer and Cheyanne Worley each put down three kills and Jewel Mason collected six digs for Tom Bean.
