AUBREY — Madi Gladen led Sherman with six kills but the Lady Cats were defeated in three sets by Denton Braswell, 25-14, 25-16, 25-23, in District 5-5A action on Friday.

Kylie Jackman added five kills for Sherman (24-6, 1-2) with Rylie Bernard and Sarah Graham each getting four kills. Dallas Aleman recorded 20 assists.

The Lady Cats had three players reach double figures in digs with Aleman having 17, Gladen 16 and Cameron Wecker 14.

Wichita Falls Rider def. Denison 3-1

Taylor Greenameyer had 16 kills and 16 digs for Denison but Wichita Falls Rider defeated the Lady Yellow Jackets, 25-22, 24-26, 25-12, 25-17, in District 5-5A action at Denison on Friday.

Kiara Scott added six kills, four blocks and 12 digs, Taryn Gaines chipped in four kills, two blocks and three digs, Drew Hayes put down three kills, Courtney Gillespie handed out 22 assists and Taylor Dawes collected 16 digs for Denison (19-9, 0-3).

District 9-3A

Gunter def. Ponder 3-1

PONDER — Camryn MacDonald had 15 kills and 23 digs as Gunter stayed unbeaten in district play with a 25-16, 22-25, 25-22, 25-14 victory against Ponder on Friday.

Beth Gilbreath also put down 15 kills, Nyah Ingram added 14 digs and eight aces, Jacee Childers handed out 41 assists to go with nine digs and three kills, Lakin Satre finished with 15 digs and four kills and Sarah Franze collected 23 digs and had four kills for Gunter (20-6, 3-0).

Pilot Point def. S&S 3-1

SADLER — Payton White had 12 kills, seven digs and four blocks for S&S but Pilot Point defeated the Lady Rams, 24-26, 25-20, 25-22, 25-23, in district action on Friday.

Leighann Wolfe added 10 kills, 10 assists, nine digs and four aces, Halie Hicks handed out 18 assists, Kaylee Baker finished with 15 digs and three kills, Grace Johnson totaled three kills, five digs and two aces and Riley Marshall collected 20 digs for S&S (10-14, 0-3)

Callisburg def. Whitesboro 3-0

WHITESBORO — Phoenix West had five kills and 19 digs for Whitesboro but Callisburg defeated the Lady Bearcats, 25-21, 25-13, 25-10, in district action on Friday.

Qyra Ressler chipped in four kills and 13 digs, Sierra Parks added four kills and three digs, Maggie McCorkle totaled three kills, six assists and four digs and Karlee Schuessler finished with 10 assists, six digs and three aces for Whitesboro (14-11, 1-1).

District 11-2A

Dodd City def. Tom Bean 3-0

DODD CITY — Sarah Brent had 11 kills as Dodd City defeated Tom Bean, 25-19, 25-17, 25-19, in district action on Friday.

Delaney Pilliod added five kills and three digs, Journie Hilliard chipped in four kills and three blocks, Abby Weeks totaled five kills, 21 assists and two blocks and Dani Baccus collected four digs for Dodd City (16-5, 3-0), which remained tied with Bells for first place.

Baylee Stautzenberger had 10 kills, Jillian Beck totaled five kills, 16 assists and five digs and Cheyanne Worley and Lauren Getts each put down four kills for Tom Bean.

Bells def. Savoy 3-0

BELLS — Dezeray Poe put down nine kills as Bells defeated Savoy, 25-16, 25-12, 25-10, in district action on Friday.

Emma Cobb added six kills, Bella Smith totaled five kills, five digs and three aces, Charli Waggoner and Cheyenne Floyd each finished with four kills and Gabby Smith collected six digs for Bells (10-16, 3-0), which remained in a first-place tie with Dodd City.

Trenton def. Roxton 3-0

TRENTON — Gracie Holden had nine kills and five digs as Trenton defeated Roxton, 25-12, 25-18, 25-6, in district action on Friday.

Maddison Lavoie put down five kills, Bethany Nors totaled 13 assists and three kills, Carley Stone collected nine digs and Dalila Hernandez served 20 consecutive points in the third game for Trenton (11-17, 2-1).

Blue Ridge def. Wolfe City 3-0

WOLFE CITY — Shelby Gerner had 17 kills and five blocks as Blue Ridge beat Wolfe City, 25-18, 25-13, 25-14, in district action on Saturday.

Skyler Gerner added nine kills and two blocks, Ellery Martin chipped in five kills and five blocks, Kelsie Kennon totaled four kills and three aces, Dakota Deckard handed out 14 assists and Teylor Langwell collected 19 digs for Blue Ridge (9-12, 2-1).
