OKLAHOMA CITY — Southeastern Oklahoma State’s Hayden Foster fired a final round 65 to take home the individual title at the GAC Preview held at Lake Hefner Golf Course while the team carded a 277 on Tuesday to tie for second.

The Pottsboro native tacked on his 65 to rounds of 64 and 69 (18-under-par) from Monday to finish three strokes ahead of second place, which was a tie that included teammate and Whitesboro native Zach James.

James tied for second with a 68 in the final round to go with a 68 and a 65 from Monday to finish 15-under-par.

Ryan Woods tied for 22nd with a two-under-par 214. Sam Berry and Trevor Proctor each finished at two-over-par for the event with totals of 218, with Proctor shooting a 74 on Tuesday and Berry adding a 76.

The team finished four strokes off the championship score of 824 posted by Oklahoma Christian, while the 828 tied them with conference foe Southern Nazarene.

Southeastern’s B team was seventh with an 850 team score.

Ruben Figueiredo led that grouping with a 207 to tie for eighth place. Ryan Capps tied for 22nd, Cody Darling tied for 38th, Cody Reed tied for 41st and Jordan Holifield tied for 45th with a 224.
