MELISSA — Despite managing just a pair of singles, the Melissa Lady Cardinals remained undefeated in District 11-4A play with a 6-4 victory against Celina on Friday night.


Kylee Brakebill and Audrey Solomon each singled and scored, Savannah Rodriguez walked twice, drove in a run and scored and Alexis Pevehouse walked and scored twice for Melissa (18-2, 2-0), which took advantage of nine walks, a hit batter and two errors.


Hannah Ubanoski was 2-for-3 with a double and scored, Randi Dobbins doubled and scored twice, Kalea Kellum and Emmy Engelbert each drove in runs and Micayla Galloway doubled for Celina (8-9, 1-1).


Princeton 5, Anna 4


PRINCETON — Hannah Howell was 2-for-4 with a home run, drove in two and scored twice during Anna’s loss against Princeton.


Shelby Dombrowski was 2-for-4 and scored and Madison Davis singled and scored for Anna (5-9, 0-2).


Princeton scored once in the fifth and three times in the sixth to take the lead for good.


District 12-2A Alvord 15, Tioga 0 (3)


ALVORD — Raena Hernandez doubled during Tioga’s loss against Alvord.


Destini Maness singled and walked while Emma Stonebraker also walked for the Lady Bulldogs (1-7, 0-2).


District 13-2A Trenton 13, Blue Ridge 0 (5)


BLUE RIDGE — Jessica Withrow threw her fifth no-hitter of the season and struck out nine as Trenton run-ruled Blue Ridge.


Withrow also was 2-for-2 with a double and drove in a run, Rami Copeland was 3-for-4 with two RBI, Rachel Nors was 2-for-3 with three RBI and Rikki Foreman was 2-for-3 and drove in two runs for Trenton (11-5, 3-1), which moved into a second-place with Tom Bean.


Non-district Gainesville 4, Sunnyvale 3


GAINESVILLE — Liz Green was 2-for-3 with a home run as Gainesville edged Sunnyvale in non-district action on Saturday.


Mary Gerken singled and drove in two runs, Blaire Boyter singled and drove in a run and Brook Kelling singled and scored twice for Gainesville (6-8-1).
