WEATHERFORD — Grayson College failed to turn a double play which would’ve forced extra innings, as Weatherford College scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in a 5-4 decision on Wednesday afternoon in Game 1 of a North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference doubleheader.

Andrew Miller and Jackson Glenn each had two hits for the Vikings, who rallied to tie the game at 4-4 with three runs in the the top of the sixth inning.

Weatherford completed the sweep with a 12-2 six-inning run-rule win in Game 2. Miller and Anthony Bernardez each had two hits for Grayson.

The Vikings (11-8, 2-4)will host Weatherford for two on Saturday at Dub Hayes Field starting at noon.
