Dee Harris put down five kills for Denison but Wylie defeated the Lady Yellow Jackets, 25-9, 25-16, 25-16, in District 13-4A action on Friday night.


Jamiah Ballard added three kills and three digs, Kaycie Hamilton chipped in a pair of kills, Melanie Garcia handed out eight assists and Harley Goodin and Nicole Swindell each collected four digs for Denison (7-29, 1-12), which closes out the regular season by hosting Sherman on Tuesday.


District 12-3A Melissa def. Bonham 3-1


MELISSA — Madison Rose had 15 kills as Melissa clinched the district championship with a 25-14, 23-25, 25-20, 25-19 victory against Bonham on Friday night.


Connar Newberry added nine kills and seven digs, Riley Duzenack chipped in eight kills, 28 assists and five digs, Amber Melcher finished with seven kills, 14 assists and 16 digs, Ashley Henger collected 19 digs and Amanda Kocsis totaled 11 digs for Melissa (26-4, 8-0), which plays at non-district match at Prairiland at 6 p.m. on Tuesday before starting the playoffs next week.


Bonham (32-10, 5-2) is locked in to second place.


District 11-2A Bells def. Leonard 3-1


BELLS — Carlee Shelby had 16 kills and 24 digs as Bells clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2009 with a 22-25, 25-16, 25-17, 26-24 victory against S&S on Friday night.


Bree Joyce added 12 kills and nine digs, Katie Shults put down eight kills, Emily Fagan finished with 22 assists and 11 digs Callie Snyder handed out 12 assists, Bailey Wornhor totaled 18 digs and Macy Sanders collected 17 digs for Bells (24-10, 8-5), which ends the regular season by hosting Whitewright on Tuesday.


S&S was eliminated from playoff contention with the loss.


Howe def. Whitesboro 3-1


HOWE —Riley Harvey had 15 kills and 12 digs as Howe defeated Whitesboro, 25-20, 23-25, 25-16, 25-20, in district action on Friday night.


Tiffany Lallier added 10 kills and five digs, Morgan Carney chipped in eight kills and six digs, Hailey DeFrange put down seven kills and three blocks, Aurian James finished with 35 assists and 15 digs, CC Counts collected 11 digs and Tori Abner totaled 10 digs for Howe, which can clinch a playoff spot with a victory at home against Callisburg in the season finale on Tuesday.


Kristen Phelps put down 16 kills, Kristen McCanlies added three kills, 16 assists and six digs Courtney Ferguson and Kylin Lemons each chipped in four kills apiece, Kerigan McCanlies finished with three kills and nine digs and Casey Lang handed out 11 assists for Whitesboro, which closes out the season at Tom Bean at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.


Whitewright def. Tom Bean 3-1


WHITEWRIGHT — Sydney Brummett had 19 kills and 17 digs as Whitewright defeated Tom Bean, 22-25, 25-13, 25-17, 25-13, in district play on Friday.


Anna Shope totaled 26 assists and four kills, Shelby Poe added nine kills and five digs and each served five aces for Whitewright (14-20, 6-7), which can clinch the fourth and final playoff spot with a win Tuesday over Bells and a Howe loss against Callisburg.


Alyssa Benjamin garnered 13 digs, Hatty Shope handed out eight assists and Zada Swoopes put down seven kills with two blocks for Whitewright.


Callisburg def. Pottsboro 3-0


CALLISBURG — Darby Wallace had seven kills and two blocks for Pottsboro but first-place Callisburg defeated the second-place Lady Cardinals, 25-20, 25-15, 25-11, in district action on Friday


Tatum Marburger added four kills and 11 digs, Sydni Henderson put down four kills, Lindsey Evans chipped in 10 assists and nine digs, Bailey Wilson finished with seven assists and nine digs and Ansleigh Oakley collected 12 digs for Pottsboro (20-11, 9-4), which can clinch second place with a victory in the season finale at S&S on Tuesday.


District 12-2A Gunter def. Leonard 3-0


GUNTER — Katey Campbell had 14 kills and nine digs as Gunter defeated Leonard, 25-7, 25-9, 25-15, in district action on Friday night.


Mikayla Watson added nine kills and 15 digs, Regan Hestand finished with six kills, five aces and 15 digs, Emily Bruner put down six kills, Breanna Adkins totaled 16 assists and nine digs, Lana Green chipped in 15 assists and 17 digs and Mackenzie Mazerolle collected 13 digs for Gunter (22-8, 8-3), which looks to maintain at least a tie with Pilot Point for second place when it hosts Van Alstyne in the district finale on Tuesday.


District 11-A Collinsville def. Prairie Valley 3-0


COLLINSVILLE — Brooke Johnson had 12 kills and 27 digs as Collinsville defeated Prairie Valley, 25-12, 25-7, 25-7, in district action on Friday night.


Cally Johnson added nine kills, 22 digs and three aces, Martha Roberts put down seven kills, Holly Theall chipped in three kills, 13 assists and 13 digs, Morgan Irelan finished with 10 assists, eight digs and four aces and Callie Woolsey totaled four aces and nine kills for Collinsville (18-14, 10-3).
