District 12-3A Melissa def. Anna 3-0


ANNA — Melissa clinched a playoff berth with a 25-14, 25-15, 25-14 victory against Anna in district action on Tuesday night.


The Lady Cardinals (23-4, 5-0) can clinch a share of the district title with a victory at Community on Friday.


Anna remained winless in district play.


District 11-2A Bells def. Whitesboro 3-2


WHITESBORO — Carlee Shelby had 17 kills and 25 digs as Bells rallied to defeat Whitesboro, 22-25, 25-27, 25-20, 25-20, 15-6, in district action on Tuesday night.


Bree Joyce added 11 kills and nine digs, Emily Fagan chipped in six kills, 12 assists and 14 digs, Callie Snyder finished with six kills and nine digs, Katie Shults put down five kills and Macy Sanders collected 16 digs for Bells (22-9, 6-4), which maintained its hold on third place.


Kristen Phelps put down 12 kills, Kacie Jones added nine kills, Kristen McCanlies chipped in five kills, 15 assists, 2 aces and 16 digs, Kylin Lemons collected 22 digs, Kerigan McCanlies totaled 15 digs, Casey Lang finished with 11 assists and 13 digs and Terilyn Bufkin had 20 digs for Whitesboro, which travels to Pottsboro on Friday.

POTTSBORO — Morgan Kent had nine kills, three digs and two blocks as Pottsboro defeated Tom Bean, 25-9, 25-19, 25-20, in district action on Tuesday night.


Tatum Marburger added seven kills and four digs, Lindsey Evans chipped in 14 assists and nine digs, Sydni Henderson put down six kills, Bailey Wilson finished with 10 assists, 10 digs and four kills, Darby Wallace totaled four kills and six blocks and Ansleigh Oakley collected 16 digs for Pottsboro (19-8, 8-2), which can clinch a playoff spot when it hosts Whitesboro on Friday.


Callisburg def. Whitewright 3-0


WHITEWRIGHT — Sydney Brummett had eight digs and five kills and Shelby Poe added five digs and four kills during Whitewright’s 25-16, 25-20, 25-13 loss to undefeated district leader Callisburg.


Alyssa Benjamin totaled 10 digs for Whitewright (13-18, 5-5) while Landry Rhoten put down three kills and Hatty Shope had three digs. Anna Shope garnered a pair of kills and digs and Zada Swoopes added two blocks.

HOWE — Riley Harvey had 11 kills and 12 digs as Howe defeated S&S, 25-22, 26-24, 25-20, in district action on Tuesday night.


Morgan Carney chipped in seven kills, three digs and a pair of aces, Hailey DeFrange put down six kills, Aurian James added 21 assists, four kills and seven digs, CC Counts collected 13 digs and Tori Abner finished with eight digs for Howe.


District 12-2A Gunter def. Sunnyvale 3-0


SUNNYVALE — Mikayla Watson had 20 kills and 10 digs as Gunter clinched a playoff berth with a 25-21, 25-11, 25-16 victory against Sunnyvale on Tuesday night.


Katey Campbell added 10 kills and 16 digs, Lana Green chipped in 11 assists and 13 digs, Breanna Adkins and Kaylee Schmitz each handed out seven assists and Emily Bruner put down four kills for Gunter (20-7, 7-2), which hosts Princeton in a non-district match on Friday.


District 11-A Collinsville def. Gold-Burg 3-0


BOWIE — Cally Johnson had 16 kills and 19 digs as Collinsville moved closer to clinching a playoff spot with a 25-18, 25-8, 25-14 victory against Gold-Burg on Tuesday night.


Brooke Johnson added 13 kills, 28 digs and four aces, Holly Theall chipped in three kills, 11 Assists, three aces and 13 digs, Morgan Irelan finished with two kills, 10 assists and 14 digs and Talyn Price put down four kills for Collinsville (15-14, 8-2), which can clinch a playoff spot with a home victory against Chico on Friday.


District 17-A Blue Ridge def. Savoy 3-0


BLUE RIDGE — The Lady Tigers clinched the district’s top seed for the playoffs with a 25-23, 25-14, 25-11 victory against Savoy on Tuesday night.


Lindsey Stone had seven kills and two aces, Jerica Isom added seven assists and two aces, Christina Francis finished with five assists, Dakota Pope led with 12 digs and Kaitlyn Knight handed out 11 assists for Savoy.
