SAN ANTONIO — Southeastern carded the lowest team score of the final round with a 297, but was unable to improve its position following day one and finished seventh at the Bruce Williams Memorial Invitational.

SAN ANTONIO — Southeastern carded the lowest team score of the final round with a 297, but was unable to improve its position following day one and finished seventh at the Bruce Williams Memorial Invitational.


SOSU turned in one of just two scores below 300 on the final day of the tournament hosted by St. Mary’s and played at the par-72, 6,937 yard Dominion Country Club.


Matt McIntosh turned in an even par 72 on the final 18 and finished with a 221 in a tie for 12th.


Marcos Sevilla Suarez finished one-stroke back both on the day and for the tournament, hitting 73 on the final day and 222 for the three-day total to finish tied for 17th.


Joey Schroeder bounced back from a rough second round and looked more like his first-round self with a 74 to finish with a 230 in a tie for 41st.


Also in that tie at 41st was Mason Horner who fired a 78 in the final round to finish with a 230.
