Red River Cowboy


SHERMAN — The members of Red River cowboy Church invite you to spend your Sunday mornings with them. Merriman Hills Baptist


SHERMAN —Dr. Charley Holmes, president of the Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas will be the guest speaker at Merriman Hills Baptist Church this Sunday. Dr. Holmes will speak on the work of the seminary during the 9:45 a.m. Sunday School hour, and will preach during the 10:45 a.m. service.


Dr. Holmes received a Master’s of Divinity from the BMA Theological Seminary where he is now president. He received a Doctor of Ministry in December 1998 from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Miss. In 1999 he was installed as president of the BMA Seminary. He was previously on the faculty of the seminary and pastored Pine Brook Baptist Church in Tyler.


Dr. Holmes and Diane, his wife of 41 years, have two daughters, Rachel and Rebecca.


Service times are Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., Children’s Bible story at 10:15 a.m., morning worship at 10:45 a.m. and afternoon worship at 1:30 p.m.


Prayer meeting starts at 6 p.m Wednesdays.

DENISON — First Baptist-Denison invites you worship services at 11 a.m. each Sunday and Bible Fellowship Groups at 9:45 a.m. A nursery and children’s worship is available for ages birth through 2nd grade.
