WINDOM — The Bonham Creative Arts Center (CAC) Kidz Krew performing arts program will present To Be Frank(enstein) the next two weekends at the old Windom School in Windom.


Performances are set for 7 p.m. on Oct. 18, 19, 25 and 26 and at 2 p.m. on Oct. 20. Tickets are on sale at the (CAC) and will be available at the door prior to each show.


To Be Frank is a modern-day comedy centering around "Nelson," Dr. Frankenstein’s monster. Nelson is just trying to raise his family and be a regular guy. The family-friendly play features Dracula, zombies, Dr. Frankenstein and other fun characters, along with music and dance. Starring as Nelson is Stephen Pollock.

Senior dance


WHITESBORO — A senior dance will be held from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. this Friday at the Jimmie O Rector Community Center in Whitesboro. Providing live music will be Chuck Willis and the Night Hawks.


Free refreshments will be served at half-time. There is no smoking inside the building and no alcohol allowed on the premises.


Sherman fundraiser


Tickets are now on sale for a fundraiser benefiting Downtown Sherman Preservation &Revitalization, Inc. Hosting the event is the non-profit Women’s Gift Exchange, located inside Kelly Square in Sherman.


Activities will begin at 10 a.m. on Nov. 9 and include the viewing of tablescapes in Grayson Hall, lunch at Fulbelli’s, a style show, raffle, silent auction and door prizes. Tickets are $20 per person and they are tax-deductible. Seating is limited and the deadline for purchasing tickets is Nov. 1.
