Weapon — Law enforcement received a call in reference to an unwanted person refusing to get out of a vehicle on Oct. 13. Officers arrived at the 300 block of East Sam Rayburn Drive where they observed a woman acting confused and disoriented. While speaking to police, the woman allegedly lunged at an officer in an attempt to grab his sidearm, according to police reports. She was booked on charges of attempting to take a weapon from an officer.
Public Intoxication — On Oct. 11, police responded to the 300 block of East 11th Street in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a woman who was attempting to smoke an unlit cigarette and swaying while standing. Authorities determined she was drunk and arrested the woman for public intoxication with three previous convictions.
Burglary — On the morning of Oct. 13, police responded to the 700 block of North Cleveland Avenue where they met with a woman who said her tenants had moved from the residence approximately three weeks prior. The landlord allegedly found narcotics paraphernalia in the residence. Also wiring and metal were missing from inside the home. A report was generated for burglary of a habitation.
