SHERMAN — The elders of Liberty Lighthouse Church announce that beginning with this next fall’s school year, the church will open the Liberty Christian Academy.

The academy will be accepting students from kindergarten age up through twelfth grade. A certified teaching staff is already in place, but there is still a need for volunteer aides. The curriculum will be one of an Accelerated Christian Education.

An informational meeting will be held at 7 p.m Thursday, April 3 at the Liberty Lighthouse Church, 110 W. Mulberry, in downtown Sherman. At that time, people will be able to meet and talk with the teachers, as well as a representative of the ministry, which will provide the curriculum for the new academy.

The teachers will also be introduced to the Liberty congregation during this Sunday’s 10 a.m worship service. Anyone interested is invited to attend.

There will be a limited number of slots open for enrollment this first year, according to the elders, so early enrollment is encouraged. Some early information is available by calling 903-892-8269.
