SHERMAN — Former Sherman resident Angel Douglas, daughter of Charles and Rosa Niblet, pastors of Greater Harvest North Church, will be the guest speaker at a special service at 5:30 p.m. this Sunday at Liberty Lighthouse in Sherman.

During the past year, Angel suffered several cardiac arrests. This resulted in her being comatose, during which time four of her major organs shut down. She was hospitalized for 98 days, and much of that time, her life was hanging in the balance.

While she continued to fight for her life, her parents, family and Christians in many churches prayed for her recovery. Hanging heavily over the whole situation was the question "If she did live, what will be the quality of her life?" Miraculously, she did recover and without any of the disabilities that she could have suffered.

Angel has many friends in the Sherman area who will want the hear share her miraculous story and sing in the 5:30 p.m. service. The customary Sunday program includes a time of praise and worship followed by Sunday night School classes. This week, however, the praise and worship will be followed by Angel’s message in place of classes.

Stan McNutt, Liberty’s pastor, invites everyone to attend. The church is located at 110 W. Mulberry in Sherman.
