SHERMAN — A special seminar on "The End Times," featuring Bishop Kenneth Myers, will be held at 7 p.m. tonight and 9 a.m. Saturday at The Church of the Resurrection, 607 W. Burton in Sherman.

Bishop Myers will offer a sensible, biblical and historic alternative to the "End Times" sensationalism. Questions such as "What does the Bible really say about the future?" or "Should we expect horrible things or hopeful things?" will be answered during the seminar.

During the seminars and in his most recent book "The End is Near … or Maybe Not!" Bishop Myers presents engaging and easy to understand Bible references which replace pessimism with optimism and dread with anticipation. His message will offer a fresh but ancient understanding on topics like the Great Tribulation and the Millenium.

Kenneth Myers, an Anglican Bishop, is pastor of the Church of the Resurrection in Sherman. He was born in Denison, the son of a pastor/missionary, and is married to Shirley McSorley Myers. They live in Denison and have three children and two grandchilren.

The public is invited to this free presentation, as well as area clergy and those affiliated with all Texoma religious organizations.
