As I watched Obama’s State of the Union speech I was extremely impressed because it was full of a sense of improvement that has been produced by hard work, diligence, overcoming tremendous obstacles and it reflected such an encouraging and promising vision for America.

As I watched Obama’s State of the Union speech I was extremely impressed because it was full of a sense of improvement that has been produced by hard work, diligence, overcoming tremendous obstacles and it reflected such an encouraging and promising vision for America.


Yet, as I listened, I began realizing that he was failing to mention the single most important topic — the acknowledgement of God in the future of America. We, as a nation, can only go so far without the involvement of the creator of mankind.


"There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." — Proverbs 14:12 (WEB).


In all reality, America is destined to become stricken and desolate without God. Yes the market is improving, but marriages and the American family as we know it are falling apart. Highways are built and America’s production is increasing, but addiction is overtaking the citizens of this great nation.


There’s been great victories of spoiling operations and plots of terrorism, but we have to maintain high levels of security at our schools and universities for fear of mass shootings within our own communities. In the attempt of removing God from our schools, courthouse and everything that resembles America, we have left ourselves vulnerable, and we have opened the door for evil to run rampant through our land.


This letter is in no way an attack on our commander and chief. I am a 30-year-old husband and father of six, who is deeply concerned for future generations and the future of this nation.


God bless our president and all the leaders who are in positions of making decisions that determine the future of America.
