BELLS — Megan Lee Whitlock and Clinton DeWayne Hubanks, both of Bells, were wed Oct. 12 in a century-old barn belonging to Bruce and Sharon Melton of Bells. Officiating was the Rev. James Singleton, uncle of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of David and Dianna Whitlock of Bells. Her grandparents are Don Neasbitt and the late Charles Ann Neasbitt and Irene Whitlock and the late M.W. Whitlock, all of Bells. She is a graduate of Bells High School and Texas A&M-Commerce and is employed by Cigna.


The groom is the son of Colin and Debbie Hubanks of Bells. His grandparents are Jack Littrell and the late Dean Littrell of Bells, Sharon Owens of Bells and the late Carl Hubanks of Brownwood. He is a graduate of Bells High School and Grayson County College and is employed at Texoma Medical Center.


Maid of honor was the bride’s sister, Sadie Whitlock. Bridesmaids were Kelli Grudza and Melissa Davis.


Flower girls were Charlie Neasbitt and Kennedi Jackson, cousins of the bride.


Best man was Cody Hubanks, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Jackson Hubanks, the groom’s son, and Russell McAdoo.


Ushers were Ryan Richards, Kyle Richards, Joseph Neasbitt and Matthew Neasbitt, cousins of the bride.


Guest registrar was Kristen Washburn.


A reception was held in Sherman, hosted by the bride’s parents. Assisting were Julie Talamantes and Jennifer Burkham.


A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Smitty’s in Denison.


Following a cruise to Cozumel, Belize, Honduras and Costa Maya, the couple is residing in Bells.


Pre-wedding activities included: a couple’s shower hosted by Darla and Jimmy Richards, Kenny and Leslie Neasbitt, Donna and Jamie Singleton, Dedra and Kerry James, Deana and Cecil Miller, Jerri-lynn Bateman, Sadie Whitlock and Russell McAdoo; and a bachelorette party and shower hosted by Sadie Whitlock, Kelli Grudza and Melissa Davis.
