Voters who plan to cast ballots in the March primaries in Grayson County have a couple of opportunities to see the candidates seeking office square off against each other.


The two debates are hosted by the Concerned Citizens of Grayson County and will be moderated by the Sherman DayBreak Toastmasters.


The first debate will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 28 in the West Courtroom of the Grayson County Courthouse on Houston Street in Sherman. That debate will feature candidates for the Grayson County Judge, Grayson County Treasurer, Grayson County Commissioner Precinct 2 and Grayson County Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 races.


The second debate will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 11, in the West Courtroom of the Grayson County Courthouse on Houston Street in Sherman. That debate will feature candidates for the Grayson County Judge, Grayson County Treasurer, Grayson County Commissioner Precinct 2 and Grayson County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2 races.


The last day to register to vote in the March primary is Feb. 3.


The first day of early voting in the primary is Feb. 18.
