Driving while license invalid — On Friday, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of W. Houston Street. The driver’s license was expired, and she did not have insurance. The officer arrested the driver and her car was towed.


Burglary — On Saturday, an officer responded to a car burglary in the 700 block of S. Heritage Parkway. An unknown suspect broke into a locked car, removed property and left evidence. The officer made a report for burglary of a vehicle.


Theft — Officers responded to a theft Saturday at a business in the 400 block of E. U.S. Highway 82. The suspect left before the officers arrived. The officers made a report for theft under $50.


Public intoxication — An officer responded to a disturbance Saturday in the 2000 block of E. Jones Street. A woman said her friend was intoxicated and would not let her move a car in the driveway. The two got into an argument and the suspect left on foot. The officer found the suspect in the 2000 block of E. Lamar Street and arrested her for public intoxication.


Possession of marijuana — An officer conducted a traffic stop Saturday in the 1800 block of Texoma Parkway. The driver’s license was suspended, and he did not have insurance. The officer arrested the driver and had his car towed. While the officer was searching the driver, he found a bag of marijuana. The officer arrested the driver for driving while license invalid with previous conviction and possession of marijuana.


Possession of drug paraphernalia — An officer responded to a disturbance Saturday in the 1200 block of W. Taylor Street. The caller reported hearing yelling from his neighbor’s apartment and also heard a window break. The suspect was found to be intoxicated on illegal narcotics, and drug paraphernalia was in plain view in his apartment. The officer arrested the man for possession of drug paraphernalia.


Burglary — On Sunday, police responded to a burglary in the 3400 block of S. Sam Rayburn Freeway. The victim said that someone entered the house while it was locked and took a television. Police made an offense report.


Warrant arrest —Police officers initiated a traffic stop Sunday in the 1400 block of E. Brockett Street. Officers found that the driver had a suspended driver’s license, a previous conviction for driving while license invalid and two outstanding city of Sherman warrants. The officers arrested the driver for driving while license invalid and the outstanding warrants.


Burglary — On Monday, an officer responded to a burglary in the 1800 block of Crescent Drive. The victim said someone entered her apartment between 2 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and stole a pack of cigarettes and about $40 worth of coins. The officer made a report for burglary of habitation.


Assault — An officer responded to a disturbance Monday in the 2000 block of S. Travis Street. The victim said his wife pushed him in an offensive manner. The officer made a report for assault by contact family violence.


Assault — An officer responded to a disturbance Monday in the 2000 block of S. Branch Street. A husband and wife both reported being assaulted by each other. There was insufficient evidence for an arrest to be made. The officer made a report for assault causes bodily injury, family violence, and the case will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s office for further action.


Criminal mischief — A woman reported Monday that the windows were broken out of her car Friday while it was parked in the 4900 block of Highgrove Drive. Police made a report for criminal mischief.
