Criminal mischief — Wednesday, an officer responded to criminal mischief in the 1200 block of E. Houston Street. The victim said her niece got into her car and intentionally ran it into the side of the house. The officer made a report for criminal mischief.

Theft — Tuesday, police received a report that an unknown suspect cut the catalytic converter off of a victim’s car while it was parked in the 5000 block of Texoma Parkway. Police made a report for theft of property.


Theft — A man called police Tuesday to report a theft that occurred Jan. 29 at a store in the 3500 block of Town Center Street. A woman had entered the store and tried to return several items she did not have a receipt for. The woman claimed the items had been purchased in November or December of the previous year. A review of the store video surveillance footage showed another woman in the store on the same date concealing items under her jacket and leaving the store without paying for them. The items that were returned for store credit were the same items that had been taken from the store earlier that day. Police made a report for theft.


Possession of a controlled substance — An officer found a man Tuesday in the 2100 block of Texoma Parkway who had outstanding warrants. The officer arrested the man, searched him and found a pipe and baggies used for drugs. The substance in the pipe field-tested positive for methamphetamine. The officer arrested the man for the warrants and for possession of a controlled substance.


Reckless damage — An officer responded Tuesday to a business in the 2600 block of Hilltop Drive regarding a truck damaging a fence. A witness told police that someone was pulling out of the business in a truck and struck a keypad and pole that open a gate. The officer made a report for reckless damage.


Burglary — An officer was dispatched Tuesday to an apartment complex in the 800 block of S. Heritage Parkway in reference to a burglary. The victim said that sometime between 11:45 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., a suspect entered the apartment by breaking a bedroom window and stole a television. The officer made a report for burglary of a habitation.


Burglary — An officer went Wednesday to the 1800 block of Ridgeway Drive regarding a burglary. The victim said that several items had been stolen from his home over the past couple days. The officer made a report and the investigation is ongoing.


Criminal mischief — A woman called police Wednesday to report criminal mischief that occurred in the 800 block of S. Travis Street. Sometime between 6:15 a.m. and noon Wednesday, an unknown suspect used what appeared to be a baseball bat to damage the rear windshield on the woman’s car. Police made a report for criminal mischief.


Theft — A man reported to police Wednesday that a trailer was stolen from a construction site in the 2600 block of Silverado Trail. Police made a report for theft of property.


Public intoxication — Police responded to a disturbance Wednesday in the 500 block of N. Highland Avenue. Police found a man who was intoxicated in public. Police arrested him for public intoxication and took him to the Grayson County Jail.


Theft — An officer responded to a theft Wednesday at a store in the 400 block of E. Highway 82. A man had concealed some items and attempted to leave without paying for them. The officer arrested the man for theft. The man was also in possession what the officer determined to be a controlled substance. The officer filed a case for possession of a controlled substance with the District Attorney.


Driving while license invalid — An officer conducted a traffic stop Wednesday in the 2800 block of Center Street. The suspect had a suspended driver’s license, no insurance and two outstanding warrants. The officer arrested the suspect.


Assault — Thursday, a man reported to police that while he and his wife were driving in the 300 block of N. Highland Avenue, his wife cut him with glass. Officers made a report for assault family violence.
