Although two trucks rolled over, no one was seriously hurt in an accident Tuesday afternoon in Sherman.

Around 4 p.m., a city of Sherman Animal Control truck and a red, Mazda truck were both traveling eastbound on F.M. 1417, said Officer Mark Wood. The city truck slowed and attempted to make a left turn onto South Carolina Drive. The red truck did not slow down and clipped the city truck on its back left side. This caused the red truck to roll over onto its side, and the city truck to flip completely upside down.

There was one man in each truck, and three kittens and two dogs in the city truck. The humans sustained only minor injuries and the animals were unharmed, Wood said.
