On New Year’s Day, the Texoma Area Paratransit Services will suspend most of its services for the holiday. TAPS will reopen to full service on Thursday.

For New Year’s, TAPS will close its Dispatch Center, and most of its regular and on-demand services, said Tim Patton, chief operating officer for TAPS.

TAPS will continue service on the Go Red River Route, which goes to the Choctaw Casino in Oklahoma, and its Allen routes. TAPS will also continue on-demand service for passengers needing service to dialysis appointments, said Patton.

Passengers who need to schedule on-demand service for Thursday are asked to call the dispatch center before 3 p.m. on Tuesday to schedule services, said Patton.
