Sherman Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Thursday evening at a convenience store.

Sherman Police are searching for the suspect in an armed robbery that occurred Thursday evening at a convenience store.


Police responded around 9:36 p.m. to the One Stop convenience store, located in the 1300 block of N. Grand Avenue, Sherman Police said Friday in a written release. The suspect concealed his identity by wearing clothes that covered his face and arms. The suspect displayed a weapon and demanded money from the store clerk. The clerk gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect left on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.


Because the investigation is ongoing, the Sherman PD is currently not releasing the type of weapon the suspect used, the amount of money he took or any surveillance footage, said Sgt. D.M. Hampton.
