A semi-truck rolled over and leaked fuel early Thursday morning on U.S. Highway 82, causing traffic to be shut down.


Around 12:40 a.m. a semi-truck traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 82 rolled over onto its side near Bar 7 Drive, said Sherman Police Sgt. D.M. Hampton. The truck began leaking fuel into the road.


Police shut down traffic on 82 while responding to the accident.


The driver of the truck sustained a broken arm. Why the accident occurred is not known at this time, Hampton said.
