POTTSBORO — The Pottsboro City Council will consider a request Monday from the Pottsboro Independent School District to drill a water well at Pottsboro High School. The water well will be used for irrigation purposes at the school. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 528 Hwy 120.

POTTSBORO — The Pottsboro City Council will consider a request Monday from the Pottsboro Independent School District to drill a water well at Pottsboro High School. The water well will be used for irrigation purposes at the school. The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 528 Hwy 120.


Other items that will be heard, considered, or acted upon include:


• a zoning change from local business district to multi-family district for property located at 600 Spur 316;


• a variance request by the Habitat for Humanity of Grayson County to allow for a three-foot side yard and a 20-foot front yard setback on a property located at 503 S Magnolia;


• matters related to the Safety Traffic Enforcement Program;


• Ordinance No. 1326 related to court fees for violations;


• appointing representatives to the North Texas Regional Airport Zoning Commission;


• selecting a construction contractor for the SH 289 waterline project;


• Resolution No. 1183 supporting the installation of a four-way stop at the intersection of SH 289 and FM 120; and


• matters relating to the city’s retirement policy for retiring employees.
